Savonlinna Opera Festival 2025 with a stopover in Helsinki

In 2025, the Savonlinna Opera Festival celebrates its 550th anniversary from 3 July to 2 August and was honoured with the International Opera Award as the best festival in 2024.

The opera performances take place at the impressive medieval Olavinlinna Castle, which is considered one of the most spectacular settings in Scandinavia. Surrounded by picturesque lakes and a fascinating landscape, the castle offers a breathtaking ambience. This makes every performance an unforgettable experience.
