Opera Festival Savonlinna 2025 - 550 years of musical history

In 2025, the Savonlinna Opera Festival will celebrate its 550th anniversary from 3 July to 2 August 2025.

The opera performances will take place in the impressive medieval Olavinlinna Castle, which is considered one of the most spectacular settings in the world. Surrounded by picturesque lakes and a fascinating landscape, the castle not only offers great acoustics, but also a breathtaking atmosphere. This makes every performance an unforgettable experience.
